Clasificación

Ceramic bricks for use in partitions, walls or covered dividing walls are included in the section on common or facing bricks.

There are two types that are clearly differentiated:

  • Non-facing perforated bricks:
These are bricks with vertical perforations in the bed, of a volume over 10%, for use in interior and exterior covered brickwork.

Ladrillo perforado no visto

Perforated bricks are traditionally manufactured in two formats, following the metric or Catalan measurements. Below we indicate the most common dimensions of perforated bricks, although there is a much wider range of models supplied by manufacturers.

  • Hollow bricks:
Bricks with horizontal perforations at edges or ends, for use in interior and covered brickwork. They can be classified, depending on the format, in two major groups: hollow bricks with traditional format and hollow bricks with large format. Also, depending on the thickness, they are differentiated between single, double or triple hollow bricks.
